Takeo Miyoshi

Takeo has over 30 years of experience in Japanese education and directing developmental health matters as a Clinical Developmental Psychologist. He received the Japan National Certificate of teaching license from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. He had formal training in special needs education and psychology in Japan and has been working with different types of learners throughout the years. Between 1999 and 2001, he was sent to an educational institution in Singapore by MOE. Takeo has an extensive music career that gave him an opportunity to perform at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. He also taught music to autistic children while he was here. He recently contributed to building the foundation of the TOY8 Developmental Screening Tool.
Amanda Eng

Masters in Early Years Education - University of Gloucesteshire
Amanda graduated with a Masters degree in Early Years Education at the University of Gloucestershire, UK. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at HELP University. She has more than 12 years of experience working with neurotypical children and children with special needs, such as children on the spectrum, children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, children with learning difficulties, etc. She has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Overcoming Barriers to Learning Mathematics at the University of Worcester, UK. Her passion is to create a fun and safe learning environment for all children and help them progress in their learning and development. She believes that all children are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all method in teaching.
Rebecca Shamini John

Rebecca graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors of Speech Science.
She has more than three years of experience spanning across educational setups and private centres in handling kids with developmental delay, learning disability, ASD and Sown Syndrome.
She is also an expert in paediatric language and social communication impairments.
Lylia Dayana Shamsudin

Dr. Iylia Dayana Shamsudin is a registered occupational therapist [MAHPC(OT)01547], currently working as one of the Senior Lecturers in the Department of Early Childhood Education, and an Occupational Therapist in the National Child Development Research Centre, Sultan Idris Education University. She was professionally trained as an occupational therapist and worked as one of the teaching staff at the ECE Department since 2011. Dr Iylia Dayana is a PhD holder in Occupational Therapy from Monash University, Australia with a specialization in paediatrics, where she conducted an intervention study based on the DIR/Floortime approach with children with Autism. She also has a Social Science Masters Degree in Human Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, both from the National University of Malaysia. Apart from being a teaching staff for early childhood education with a specialization in children with special needs, Dr Iylia Dayana also conducts intervention and consultation sessions, research relating to young children, Floortime intervention, and play.

Madhuri holds a Masters degree in Educational Psychology from Universiti Malaya. She is a licensed member of Play Therapy international and is certified by Play Therapy UK to conduct Therapeutic Play sessions for children aged 3-12 years. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Learning Disorder Management & Child Psychology from UK. She is a trained and certified Counselor and has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from SIN. Madhuri has been working passionately with families and children experiencing learning, emotional, and behavioural difficulties for the last 12 years through EIP and play-based intervention methods. She also works as a consultant for parents, teachers and schools and guides them in their quest for managing children’s developmental, behavioural and psychosocial issues holistically. Madhuri works with both Neurotypical and Neurodivergent children in a friendly, safe and non-directive environment to bring the best out of each child, helping them to learn self-expression and self-regulation skills in the process.
